I Need Your Help.

As most of you already know, I am not a basketmaker or a weaver. In fact, I knew very little about basketry before I met Eric. Undoubtedly, I still know very little about basketry when compared to all the people I have met in Eric’s workshops and classes.

However, one thing I have attained and am knowledgeable about, is what the “business” of basketry entails. I am the basketmaker’s wife and a supportive one at that. So I know what it takes to be a working craftsman by living, working and traveling with Eric. And if I finished writing our bio’s you would know this already. But I’m a procrastinator.

Since this blog is mainly from my point-of-view as a non-weaver and a wife of a basketmaker, I need your help. If there are any questions you would like me to ask for the popular “Ask Eric Five Questions on Friday,” send them to me at questions@thebasketmakerswife.com. Especially all you basketmakers and weavers since I would not ask him basket-related questions. I will still throw in my usual non-related inquiries (or as Eric calls it “the interrogation”). But I also would like to share more informational basketry content as well.

So go ahead. Ask anything! I promise I’ll do my best to get Eric to answer them. You know by now how lackadaisical he is with quite a bit of his responses. All questions will remain anonymous unless you want me to attribute your name. Just let me know this in your email. See you Friday!

I have been shopping Blick’s Art Supplies for over 15 years. I love them! And they have a great paper selection too! For crafts, scrapbooking, cards, you name it!
