I happily agreed to put together 650 “cards” to be put in the NCBA’s goody bags. At the time, it seemed like an easy task. But in typical fashion, I created a more time-consuming project for myself. We leave on monday, and I have 585 more cards to put together. Why did I agree with Eric to do this again???
I love Vistaprint. We print all Eric’s labels and booklet covers from them, along with my cards. They routinely offer “free” items so you can sample what they can do. They offer tons of templates (for the non-designers) but if you’re like me, you can still upload your own designs as well.
What a fantastic idea there Lynne! I never thought about it, but sending the cards to the basketry conventions for goodie baskets is a no-brainer to get the word out about Eric’s business and your blog/art business! Thanks soooo much for this post, I’m sitting here shaking my head wondering WHY I didn’t think of it first.
LOL! You are very welcome Cathryn! I created a business card that was in the shape of a bookmark and when the idea came up to put them in the goodie bags, I decided to attach them to a larger card with string that talks about the blog.
