My favorite number is five and this Travel Tip is a good one.
While talking to your mother on the cell phone as you’re traveling down the highway, do not yell out to your husband “Watch Out!” and then accidentally hang up the phone.
Not good.

That is as bad as the time I accidentally called my parents late one night. I was so shocked when my Dad answered the phone that I stumbled on my words apologizing for waking them up and quickly got off the phone. Of course my Dad didn’t have his hearing aids in and was half asleep so didn’t really understand what I was saying so couldn’t tell my Mom, who was also half asleep what I had called about. They got all freaked out and kept trying to call me, but by that time I was already on the phone with my original intended call. By the time I got back to them, maybe 10 or 15 minutes later, they were both worked up into a lather and were about ready to jump in the car to drive to St. Louis.
Isn’t it amusing that at our age, we still stress out our parents! Thanks for the story Tony!
That;s hilarious. I hope you both enjoyed your week at the Folk School. The pictures are great.
Hi Pattie! We loved the Folk School. Thank you so much for the work you do as the resident artist there!
