I thought I’d keep it light today. While we were up in Maine a couple weeks ago with our close friends Eric (the sherpa) and Karen (the expert), our dog Chance was able to see something he never saw before… Chickens!
I need to apologize to Eric (the sherpa) who jumped in the “pen” after I videotaped this. He was afraid Chance would plow through the lightweight barrier. But he forgets that our dog is strange. He only jumps straight up, not “on” things. If he jumped on the fence and it moved, he would freak out and cower away like a baby. So Eric (the sherpa) sorry that Chance almost gave your chickens a heart attack! I did not know chickens can die from extreme fright! But come on, who’s afraid of a big, goofy dog like Chance??
