Live From NH: Five Questions Friday

While out to eat with my Dad, Uncle Jay, Aunt Gail and Uncle Ed tonight, Eric was asked his five questions.
First question is from Uncle Ed:
Q
: You a redneck now?

Eric: I’m trying! Honestly, I think I was always a redneck.

Q (from my Dad): What do you think of the NFL and Roger Goodell??
Eric: Bob… couldn’t you ask me an easy question? Gheesh… it’s too  loaded of an answer. But sorry, I don’t talk sports or politics on my wife’s blog.

Q (from Aunt Gail): How long of a drive is it to Tennessee?
Eric: It’s about 17-18 hours. We are aiming to do it all in one day.

Q (from Uncle Jay): How do you get along with that Patriots plate on your car down in Tennessee?
Eric: It’s not as if I have a Red Sox plate driving through the Bronx. I’ve seen plenty of cars with Patriots and Red Sox plates down in Tennessee.

QWhat aggravated you this week?
Eric: Not having any steamers while we were on Nantucket!

  1. Not eating steamers on Nantucket in September is a good thing! I’ve lived on the coast of Massachusetts all my life and was taught since childhood never eat steamers during a month that has an “r” in it. They are not in season or at their best. Now I’m sure clammers would probably disagree with me but that was our Yankee thinking here in MA 🙂
