Mr. Basketmaker came to me and said he wants to do something different tonight for Five Questions. Hey, he’s the boss… (well, at least for this hour he is.)
Eric: What would you, Mrs. Basketmaker, do if somebody gave you a gift that you didn’t want to display since it’s nothing you would ever purchase yourself? Do you put the gift away and only take it out in case the “gift giver” ever came by? Or do you re-gift?
BMW: Seriously? That’s your question in lieu of one of my awesome questions?
Eric: Well, yeah, and that’s my current dilemma. Is it wrong to want to bring it to the local charity thrift store?
BMW: Depends on who gave you the gift. Usually, people close to me know me and buy me things I like. Who bought you something that you don’t like?
Eric: Well, obviously I’m not going to say right now. I just need to know what to do.
BMW: I’d say if it’s not a gift from family or close friends, and you really don’t like it, then I would probably put it on ebay or donate it.
Eric: What happens if that person sees it on sale on ebay?
BMW: You think they’re on their computer 24/7, stalking your ebay store on a daily basis?
Eric: Ah, good point. You just answered my question. Now Ask me what aggravated me this week.
BMW: What aggravated you this week?
Eric: Ah, the fact that you still have not updated my workshop web page! And I’m thinking this will tick me off every Friday until you fix it.
BMW: Hey, don’t tempt me….
It’ early for me so I misspelled a couple of words, but you get the point.
Yup, I got it!! LOL! Thanks Marty.
Tell him to do it himself if it frustrates him. I think he is capibal of doing that.
