Five Questions Friday… since like Forever!

Q: Okay, I know you are champing at the bit… yes, we will address the elephant on the blog – that “letter” I mentioned a few days ago. My sister even just called saying “why are you leaving me hanging? What is this letter?”
Eric: I got an unsolicited letter from a person whom I last spoke to probably 17 or 18 years ago whose last words to me were “you were nothing more than an employee to me.”

Q: Wow. That’s not good. Do you want to reveal what’s in the letter?
Eric: I would love to. But I’m in a conundrum. We found it entertaining but is it something I should publish? Not sure.

Q: Well maybe there should be some kind of record set straight since she thought there was some kind of on-going issue but it was the first you ever heard about it, right?
Eric: True. I was unaware of any issue. But maybe I should think about that for a bit. At least she admitted I was a part of her new design. However, I really wasn’t a “part.” I know the facts and the truth. So let me think about that more.

Q: What aggravated you this week?
Eric: It’s not necessarily an aggravation but more of a “is this for real?” kind of an emotion. That being said, being called by said letter-writer, and I quote, 

“I guess the bigger the ego the less capacity one has to share or see the world from outside of themselves… ‘if I think it, it’s mine!’ Family trait?”

I said to myself, “Is this for real?” I thought maybe I was being punked!
Yeah, that is harsh and bizarre at the same time. Especially since I’m always telling you it’s hard for me to have the bigger ego than you! I’m constantly trying to have you get an ego!

Q: Okay, new question… what made you laugh this week?
Eric: This letter! Especially after I mounted it in a big-ass frame and hung it in my workshop. I chuckle every time I see it.
