Q: Notice I didn’t haggle you for 5 Questions Friday since you were so busy. One of my questions weeks ago was how was the ride up to Michigan? That was a long trip without your co-pilot…
Eric: I’ve been to Georgia and Connecticut since then so it seems to be one big blur. I did miss my co-pilot but we wanted you to stay home for the dogs… it’s been rough… Chance being sick since September, Jaxson having to stay in the hospital for pneumonia and then when I got back Chance had to go in. But all three workshops were great and completely full so I was busy and appreciated a “blog” break. Don’t remember much more detail than that.
Q: How about that rainbow today?
Eric: I had a hard time seeing it while driving. What I did see was nice and not only a double rainbow but it was so bright. It was a nice thing to see on our way home after the week we have had.
Yes… it was awesome. I wish I had a good camera with me. I snapped a few shots with my phone while driving by… didn’t capture the detail but it showed how bright this rainbow was. It was almost like it was lighting up the sky and had a cool effect while taking it in motion.
Q: So after our whole discussion on the difference between a wallflower and spineless, what is your definition of each?
Eric: The wallflower is afraid to be noticed and spineless are afraid to fail.
Q: Today was Black Friday and ordinarily we would never go out shopping today (especially since we are done getting Christmas gifts usually by Thanksgiving)… but after our week, we decided to get out for awhile… so how was your black Friday experience today?
Eric: I think this was my first time shopping on black friday. I don’t think we are very good at it. Having a late start at about 1:00pm didn’t help—all the .50 cent poinsettias at Lowe’s were gone. But we got a great deal on lights and you found a bargain on all that wrapping paper.
I think we did well. It was a good distraction.
Q: What aggravated you this week?
Eric: I don’t have anything that aggravated me—just sad. Losing our dog Chance has been very hard.
