As many of you know, we lost my dog Chance less than 3 months ago. And now Jaxson. He had a large mass in his lung and he couldn’t breath. It would require invasive surgery and breaking ribs to remove the mass and we were not willing to put him through that, even though we would do anything so WE could keep him. He was just that great of a dog. But it would not have been fair to him.
I know many people met Jaxson either when we were on the road or here at the workshop. He loved everyone he met. And even though I loved to say he was a big pain, her really wasn’t… we loved him very much… even when he would get in the middle of everything, like Eric digging up the garden…
And that face…
Chance and Jaxson became fast friends…
Now Chance and Jaxson can be back together again.
Thank you Jaxson for being Eric’s best friend and protecting me when Eric was gone to his workshops. You will be immensely missed…
Sending love and hugs to you both as you deal with the loss of a fantastic, loving member of your family.
Thanks so much Pam and Royce.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how heart breaking it is to lose a family member. . We lost our Jaxson a year ago due to an abdominal tumor that was wrapped around his intestines. Putting him down was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I still miss him every day.
Oh I hear you Pat. It’s so hard. You want to tell the Vet to fix them but surgery is very hard on a dog. It is very hard… this was my 4th with Chance at the end of November. It doesn’t get easier at all. It only prepares you for what’s going to happen next.
You are so right.
So sorry for your loss. Dogs impact our lives in so many ways. I prefer to think they just ran on up ahead.❤️
Aw… thanks Miss Cathy. What a nice thought…
I am so sorry for your loss. Our pets are family.
Yes they are.
With tears in my eyes I am so very sorry for your loss. He was such a good companion and so happy to see everyone when we would come and weave. My prayers are with you both.
Donna
I know – he loved everyone. Thanks Donna.
