Mr. Basketmaker has been very busy in the workshop creating new baskets for teaching next year. I’m really liking his new baskets.
The first one he named the Kitchen Caddy. I think it’s cute. Then he created two more smaller baskets based on that one. He let me name those and I did, based off of their use. I brought them in the kitchen to get ideas…
One basket was the perfect size to hold a stack of teaspoons so… yep you guessed it, it’s called the Teaspoon Basket. It measures approx. 8.5 inches in width and 5.5 inches in height.
The other one I named Spice Basket. It was perfect for when you’re cooking and you want to gather up about five or six spice bottles to bring to your work station. It measures 10.25 inches in length and 6 inches in height.
The original Kitchen Caddy measures 12.125 inches in length and 7 inches in height.
These three baskets will be taught next year except for Nantucket where this September he will be teaching the Spice Basket.
I love these baskets. They are precious.
