We know there’s a whole bunch of you that have unfinished baskets and are desperately waiting for the PART TWO of my “how-to” section. So Lynne told me at lunch today that she’s determined to get Part Two done asap! She’s not stopping for anything else. So to help out, I’m going to ask the questions… to her!
Eric: Okay, to give you a break, I’m asking tonight’s questions.
BMW: Oooh… this will be a treat… (I think)
Eric: Last year you were in charge of our garden and this year I have been in charge of the garden. Even though we had a late start due to frost, who do you think has the bigger green thumb? Look at that beautiful cucumber and how about the size of that luffa leaf?
Lynne: YOU have the bigger green thumb by far. No question about that. Last week you were the “kitten king” and I guess this week I should start calling you “the garden king.” However, in my defense, I couldn’t contain the weeds last year. But I see that you made some adjustments that I did not have prior that seems to make it more manageable. And, I don’t want to admit it, but your cucumbers look much better than mine did. Nonetheless, don’t you go taking credit for the Luffa… those are all my doing.
Eric: How long will it take to get the rest of my how to videos up on the website?
SERIOUSLY??? Let’s see… today you interrupted me so I could make adjustments to the online schedule, print out a shipping label, contact a few students to confirm the dates they signed up for, upload a couple more of your mini kits, go to the new small local bank we are about to switch over to so they have my signature, then go to lunch with you, come back and place an order for more kitten flea preventative because we’re about to get more foster kittens, help one of your students book an ‘airbnb’ and before all that you wanted me to help you wash the floor in the front entrance AND go plant the flowers you bought me… should I keep going?
You forgot to mention that you were supposed to do 5 questions today and now I’m doing it.
Again… Seriously? I hope you’re joking. Maybe I should ask “When am I going to be left alone long enough to finish it?”
Ah, well I just found some more issues with the website. Maybe I will wait until later to tell you about it…
Yeah… good thinking.
Eric: Speaking of having lunch, what was it like going out to a restaurant for the first time in like forever?
BMW: A little odd. We sat outside which I always like. And authentic Mexican is the best. But I might’ve been a little overdramatic by not touching any part of the menu and you pointing out stuff I would like; covering my half of the table with napkins and then putting my silverware in my lap until the food came. But of course, I had the best company, as usual. So it was a great outing.
Eric: What aggravated you this week?
BMW: Yeah, I had what aggravated me this week—something about Live PD being cancelled—but now I’m changing it after I read what you just wrote below. How many times do I have to say “Seriously?” And I do have a comment about your new air fryer. But will save that for another “Friday.” Thanks for the reminder.
I don’t know why you complain about five questions Friday and even stopped doing it for almost a year. This is easy! I even came up with bonus questions – how has your experience been working full time for Eric Taylor Basketry? How long does it take to photograph every basket I have? And the new photo booth we got, you must love that. And what about all the orders you’ve been taking in? And how do you like your husband’s new air fryer? I could go on but I know you need to get back to work. But it’s easy to come up with questions.
Don’t make me stop this car!!!! LOL OMG!
Yeah exactly.
