Eric received a few emails where people were confused on how to “rent the mold” instead of buying it, so I thought I’d make a post about how it works. Note: not all molds are for rent—mainly the larger-sized ones.
When you are purchasing a kit with the mold, you will pay full price for it. Then return it within 30 days, and we will refund you the cost of the mold, minus $20. Within 60 days, minus $30.
Why not just have an option to simply pay the $20? Because at times, there have been molds never returned. And it’s hard to chase them down when time has passed. This way, if a mold is never returned, it was paid for.
