Q: Last Friday I picked up a single kitten and we thought this would be so easy. Just one, right?
Eric: lol.
Q: Can you tell everyone, since you’re the cat person, what’s so special about this kitten we called Hermie?
Eric: Don’t call me a cat person, I just have had cats my whole life and understand them. And this one is like 1 in 100 of being an awesome Cat. Friendly, cute, curious, outgoing, unafraid, adventurous, playful, loyal, smart… everything you would want in a cat.
Q: Why are we missing this kitten we only had for a week? Even poor Izzy is depressed… she’s been laying in my chair all day just looking so sad!
Eric: I knew we were never keeping this kitten so I removed it from my head. Besides, didn’t you say you have no idea what a cat’s purpose is?
Yeah, I sort of did… : (
Q: Guess we should add here that Hermie was already spoken for. We were just temporary fosters until the “transport” could pick him up and bring him to his forever home in Massachusetts. It’s like an underground world – all these people putting their lives on hold to get homeless animals to their forever homes. Hollie said the driver is from New England and he drives almost every weekend down to Alabama to rescue dogs from the shelters and brings them up North. Isn’t that amazing?
Eric: Yes. I’m just trying not to think about poor Hermie being trapped in a vehicle with all these barking dogs and some whining cats for 18 hours and not running around with us!
Oh, so you do care and miss him!!!

Q: I’m changing it up since I’ve had enough aggravations this week for the both of us… instead of what ‘aggravated you’ I’m going to ask what made you happy this week?
Eric: I can’t wait to watch a Patriots football game this Sunday.
