For each workshop we usually have a name. But for this group, they all came here individually from five different states. And one student from Washington was not able to travel shortly before the workshop so she had to make her basket “solo” by watching Eric’s videos online. So for this post, we have aptly named them the “mod-podge” group. And if you know me, you know I love mod podge and a little obsessed with decoupage. BTW, the roof of Eric’s workshop porch is still holding up perfectly!
Back to the class, it was so nice to see Vivian from Texas again, and meet Cheri and Julie, and to catch up with Tracey and Kathleen. We had a great time eating BBQ.
Here’s Tracey drilling her rims on the workbench while Eric works on Cheri’s Creel Basket.
Cheri and Miss Vivian sanding parts and Julie almost done weaving her Legacy Swing basket…
Miss Kathleen working on her sewing basket…
Eric had lots of weavers prepared. My nephew thinks it’s really hair…
Tracey and Kathleen working on their sewing baskets…
And here’s Karen S’s finished basket, from Washington, who had to go it alone due to not being able to fly…
And I totally spaced it—I wanted to do a zoom call during the workshop to make you feel a part of the group. But I think your basket turned out great! Here’s a little note Karen sent…
Thanks Karen! Eric appreciates that since he spent a long time working on those videos to make sure they were simple and easy and thorough! And again, sorry I didn’t patch you in during the workshop! But glad everything worked out.
And thanks to Vivian, Julie, Cheri, Tracey and Kathleen, as well as Karen, for a great “kick off to summer” AKA “mod podge” workshop. Great baskets were made all week…
See y’all next year!

All of Eric’s workshops are full for 2021. Eric is currently working on his 2022 schedule to get it online as soon as possible. Hopefully we will have it next week.
