Five Questions Friday: Family Plan

Q: Are you still mad at me about taking your tiger maple wood from your shop, while you were gone,  for a new shelf for your coffee mugs?
Eric: No, that’s okay.  But to tell you the truth, if I were home I wouldn’t have let you take it.  For the use of a little shelf, it was a waste of good wood. However, you made a good point that it was sitting in my “scrap wood pile.” I thought you would have recognized that it was actually good tiger wood.
(Hey, it was in the scrap wood box and I took the prettiest piece!)

Q: You had your phone for a year now and you still don’t know how to take it off speaker phone? What’s up with that?
Eric: Well, I guess it doesn’t matter much since I broke it and now I’m getting your old I phone. Now, I have to learn another new phone.  Can you help me with the first thing I need to do with my phone? It’s the ring tone for when you call. I’d like it to be “She’s a lady” by Tom Jones. Here’s a video for you to grab the sound byte: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvmyTZEqlo8

Q: So after you bought your two vintage wall paper towel dispensers at the salvage place, and you discovered that you needed keys to open them, who came to your rescue, huh? So now what do you think about my little collection of keys that you harped on me about that was useless and I should throw away?
Eric: Just lucky that you happened to have a useful key in that useless collection.

Q: If you could go back in time and visit any dead baseball player who would it be and why?
Eric: That is a tough one. I could come up with a few, but maybe Walter Johnson would be a good choice. He played in an era where parents would have been embarrassed if their son chose baseball as a career. Overall, I love any pre-World War II baseball history and he played way before then.

Q: What irritated you this week?
Eric: Two things. Trying to get my billing password from Verizon that I couldn’t remember AND waiting for you brother to activate my phone on the family plan.
(Maybe he’s trying to send you a message…)
