Ginteenth.

I learned a new word yesterday from Eric during his workshop in Ocala, Florida. Ginteenth. When I asked him the meaning of Ginteenth, he forcefully remarked, as he quickly turned towards me, that it is another word for ‘smidge.’ He used the word in the following sentence: When tapering your weaver, you will cut off a ginteenth.

(To answer your question: No, I do not believe that it is an actual word).

  1. Hmmm, to me I would think in would mean "umpteenth", like a really large umpteenth. Like a gigawatt.
