Okay. No more stories about how traumatic our move has been or how tired we are or how many boxes we still have yet to unpack! Well, maybe not “no more stories” but at least for today I’ll talk about one of our favorite hobbies… thrifting!
So we were feeling really cooped up this morning and decided to go explore our local thrift stores. Of course, this wasn’t the first time we went thrifting in our new neighborhood. Two days after closing on this property, we went to a thrift store a few miles down the street, which is currently my favorite, and we also previously explored the Habitat For Humanity ReStore.
So today, we checked out a couple others we have not been to and nothing struck our fancy. So we went to the Habitat ReStore to pick up a couple more windows for our “wall of windows” (which I’ll talk about in a future post) and scored these antique theatre spotlights!
After a little tweaking of the wires, both of them work! Very cool. Not sure what we will be doing with them but when they find their purpose in our humble abode, I’ll let you know.
