Q: It seems like every year, you are changing your Fantasy Football league team name? Why again this year?
Eric: Yes, I changed my name once again. I’ve only had three different names in four years.
Q: Hey, I haven’t changed my name once. Would you let another team change their name so much?
Eric: I must admit, as the Commissioner of our family Fantasy Football League, I would be very perturbed of another member doing this but I have valid reasons for changing mine. The first time I changed my name is because everyone hated it so much. I thought it was funny — nobody else did. Then I changed it to “Viva Manch Vegas” for two seasons. Then we moved to Tennessee so I had to change it again.
Q: Yes, your first name, “Manchester 7-Elevens” was a terrible name. Why are you the only one who thought it was even remotely a good team moniker?
Eric: I thought it was a cool play on words and that as the commissioner, I was open 24/7.
(oh my gosh. I have no comment for that one).
Q: Dare I ask…what is your new name?
Eric: The “Tennessee Tuxedos.” A classic early 70’s cartoon character. And I also need to add that cousin Joe moved out of Pelham so changing his name from the “Pelham Pollywogs” to “Gate City Cummerbunds” was pure Brady Gaga brilliance.
Q: Okay, enough about our brilliant league… what annoyed you this week?
Eric: Oh, two words: June Bugs!
(I second that. I’ve never seen so many and so big!)

“Teased a lot in the upcoming season”. So pretty much, despite the new team name, everything else will be the same!
uh…. yup!
Best name yet! Great idea!
I don’t think the other team members are going to like it so much… I am positive he will be getting teased a lot in the upcoming season!
