One of the many perks of being married to a basketmaker is that I get to travel and meet many great people, like our host, Jean, up here in Minnesota. Everyone in the guild is fantastic and Mr. Basketmaker’s classes are going well.
It’s been a few long days, but the evenings have been very relaxing, like tonight. Jean and Jo were so kind and brought us to the Minnesota Twins game.
The ballpark is relatively new and it was gorgeous. The sky was clear, weather was perfect and it was so peculiar to sit next to civilized fans who don’t yell out drunken obscenities every 5 seconds like in Fenway! (Now I said it was ‘peculiar,’ not that I liked it better! Nothing beats Boston.)
Here’s us at the end of the game. And yes, the Twins did win. Will post pics of the workshop tomorrow! (You know, the reason why we’re up here in the first place!)

Yes, it was fun. But we cannot wait to go home and get some sleep! When we get home tomorrow, we will probably sleep until noon the next day!
