While Eric is teaching in Michigan, I’ve been spending time with my nephews in Chicago. One of the many activities I look forward to doing while visiting is painting with the youngest, Ben. And last night, we spent my “Birthday evening” together, painting in my sister’s studio.
He is a great painting partner — so inventive yet focused. And he literally will come up with over a dozen of interesting techniques in applying his medium. I actually borrowed one of his ideas for my own painting.
Can you guess which one was painted by me and which one was painted by my 9-year-old nephew?
I have been in Michigan while these projects were going on so I knew nothing about this until reading the post just now. I’m putting my “do I know my wife” test on the line and I’m saying it is the painting on the left. Please let it be the one on the left.
No! You are both amazing!
