I think they were discussing how chilly it was today. Or Eric was venting to CoCo Kitty how there hasn’t been any sports on television for months.
The basket he’s working on is his Spice Basket that he will be teaching at the end of the month at Tony Stubblefield’s in St. Louis.
He needed to make another sample because in January, he gave his original to one of the Virginia convention volunteers, Christy N. as a “thank you” for everything she did for us.
One was helping me find all the good thrift stores in town while convention was happening. She also gave us a bag of homemade cookies that were ah-mazing! I forget the name of them but I called them “crack cookies.” Not to mention the great seafood we had on the last night.
She always does so much and sends us the best cards so we thought we would “catch up” on the generosity. But no. We left with surprise gifts—thanks for the cool t-shirt and the little lilacs in the bottle you made me Christy! Now we’re ‘behind’ again!!
